Cerralbo Museum

Palace – museum built in the 19th century that preserves its original decoration and houses the art, antiquarian, and archaeological collection acquired by the 17th Marquis of Cerralbo, Enrique de Aguilera y Gamboa. It consists of paintings mostly belonging to the 18th century Baroque, including those of great masters such as Zurbarán or Tintoretto, and a wide range of decorative arts dating from between the Middle Ages and the 20th century, as well as textile works, drawings, armory, and coins. The museum stands out for its magnificent and opulent decoration which is preserved in its original state.
